Scouting rocks!

I have to admit I love scouting!

This weekend we went to this charming little place in the woods.

We chose to stay in tents and I slept out.
Can't help loving it!
We tried out some orienteering in the area, and I'm amazed what 8-9 year olds can do! They found all the control sites in the middle of nowhere!
Knots and knobs were tested and some pioneering done. 
For late dinner we ate tacos made in the wilderness, and we ended the Saturday with a campfire.
